Following NAB 2009, many of the top manufacturers in the broadcast industry will hit the road as part of a tour sponsored by TV Pro Gear. This 15-city event will feature the hottest gear first exhibited at the trade show including the latest products from Panasonic, Harris, ND SatCom, For-A, Doremi, Clear-Com, Telecast, Gerling, AJA, and Apple.
All this gear will travel the Western US inside TV Pro Gear’s latest creation, The FileCaster™, a power-packed six-camera remote HD production platform and hybrid satellite truck. Attendees will experience the complete feature set of the vehicle while learning about the vast array of equipment contained therein.
“The hottest HD Cameras, switchers, DDR’s, satellite equipment and post-production gear. We have it all,” said Chan Mahon, President of TV Pro Gear, “And the versatility and power of the FileCaster™ allows us to showcase everything in a complete studio environment.”
The gear displayed on this tour includes Panasonic AJ-HPX2000 and 300 Camera Packages, For-A HVS300HS Switcher, DoReMi Image Server, Harris Panacea Router, ND SatCom Uplink Solution and a complete Apple Final Cut Pro Suite. Experts will be on hand to outline the features of each piece included in the FileCaster™ and demonstrate how everyone from churches to broadcasters to colleges to military bases can take advantage of the latest broadcast technology.
“This is the next best thing to actually attending NAB, and in many ways it’s better,” says Mahon, “Guests will enjoy a more individualized experience without having to part with any precious dollars for travel expenses.”
